Henrietta Williams Pichon’s scholarly activities focus on access, development, pedagogy, and persistence of historically underrepresented groups in higher education. To her credit, she has several publications in peer reviewed journals and two book chapters. Adding to that, she has presented at national, regional, and state conferences. She is actively involved in several national associations/organizations: AABHE, AERA, ASHE, and NASPA. She has served as program/manuscript reviewer, session chair, and discussant. She has also served as a manuscript reviewer for several national, peer-reviewed journals: Urban Education, Educational Researcher, Journal of the Professoriate, and Journal of Student Affairs Research and Practices. She has a wealth of experience in higher education as an administrator and faculty member. She earned a Ph.D. in Education Administration (Higher Education) from the University of New Orleans.
