Mission:

The mission of the Department of Educational Leadership & Administration at New Mexico State University is to prepare and graduate capable, skillful and dynamic educational leaders for a diverse society. Through the use of theory and practice we aim to develop change agents and role models for socially-just educational systems.

The Department adheres to the standards and guidelines defined by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), the University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA), and the New Mexico State Department of Education.
